The 2025 MBS Grand Foray will be held at the Terrace Bay Hotel in Gladstone, MI from July 7 through the 10th. It is being coordinated by the White Pine Chapter of the MBS.
But wait, what is a Grand Foray?
This is the largest event of the year for the Michigan Botanical Society, and it is the largest gathering of veteran Michigan Botanists. Held every year, at various times and locations, each chapter takes a turn hosting the foray. This event features field trips, and evening presentations by some of the best and most accomplished Botanists in the region. Due to the size of this event, there is a modest charge for these programs; society membership is also required. Field trips are offered in a variety of difficulty levels, meals are offered, and we are able to provide discounted accommodations at local hotels.
A full slate of field trips are lined up for Tuesday and Wednesday with speakers each evening. More information will be available soon along with more details and registration information.
